Housed in an industrial 50s warehouse formerly occupied by Rolls Royce and acquired in a semi-derelict state, its transformation was approached by the artist Henry Krokatsis as a large evolving sculptural work. It has been constructed using found and redundant materials, balancing functionality and subversion. The 12,000 sq ft space currently houses a not-for-profit project space and a 1000 sq ft roof terrace and event space. There are 22 purpose-built artists’ studios across 2 floors. This unfolding social sculpture aims to act as a source of inspiration, enquiry, and experimentation.
